As we grow and mature we need to become increasingly aware of the need for consent.
Consent allows you to be in control of your body and what happens to it. Whether it is as simple as holding a person's hand through wanting to kiss them, it is still important that we ask if it is OK to do it. Consent develops self respect as well as respect for others.
This episode looks at both asking for consent and giving it. It also shows what you can do if consent is not given.
This story follows the successful format of Carol Gray's Social Stories and supports all learners, not just those who are Neurodiverse. Suitable for KS1 to KS3.
